Who am I?

I’m an eternal optimist, a fast talker (really fast!), a big dreamer and a dark chocolate eater. I do my best to live green, love Burt’s Bees lip balm and can’t imagine life without potato chips or my iPhone.

Photos have always facinated me. My lifelong love of photos developed into a passion for photography when my little man came into this world. {Yep, that is the two of us over there on the right.} Wanting to capture every single minute of his life landed me with hundreds of photos of Quinn in the first few months of his life. Who needed sleep? I was hooked on photography {and maybe a little adrenaline}. Many hours that should have been spent napping with my son were spent reading, learning and taking photographs. Being a mom + a photographer is a fabulous combination. I see the little things that I didn’t see before. I want for every other mom the same feelings I get when I look at photos of my little guy. The tingels that say "he’s mine!" There is no better compliment that I can receive than to have a mom look at an image of her little one and say now that is my child!

My photographic style is fresh, simple and modern. I like to focus on the kids and give them all of my time and attention. It is about finding out who they are and letting that come through in the photographic art that I create.
