I can hardly believe that 2 weeks have passed since Baby Tate joined our family. It seems like he has always been here. Tate is such a sweet baby! We have all fallen in love with him ~ especially his big brother. How lucky are we that he picked our family to be with forever?

Our family is complete. Baby Tate arrived healthy and beautiful on January 12, 2010 looking quite a bit like his big brother. We are totally in love with this little guy already. Just wanted to share a photo of our newest family member. {I'm sure there will be lots more photos of him to come.}

I'm getting close. Really close. Our new little boy will be here in a matter of days. So I'm taking some time off. To relax. Spend some time with my other two boys before life gets a little crazy around here. I'll still be taking photos {like I could stop?} and sharing images of our newest family member.  Can't wait to meet him...

So the beginning of 2010 marks the end of a decade! Hard to believe, isn't it? I've been inspired by some of my amazing fellow photographers and bloggers to reflect back on the past 10 years to see what has happened in my life.

In the past 10 years I have...
~ lived my dream job working as the full-time sports nutritionist for a professional sports team, the NBA Dallas Mavericks
~ moved to Dallas, Texas where I lived for 8 years {I always thought I belonged in Texas but never knew exactly why...}
~ met and married my perfect-for-me husband
~ travelled to Italy for our honeymoon where we indulged in the most delicious food and wine daily! {oh, and gelato too!}
~ had the most amazing little boy in the whole entire world
~ bought a mini-van {never thought I'd see that on my list!}
~ bought a house {and then sold it to move all the way back to Florida}
~ got a new dream and started chasing it with the creation of my photography business...


What does 2010 hold for me??? Well, for certain another amazing little boy due to arrive in the next 2 weeks and more happiness + chaos that I can probably imagine!  

I believe we get back what we put out to the universe. I am thankful for my amazing family and wonderful friends. This year I want to be sure to enjoy every moment and to be grateful for the big and small things.  Time will, I'm certain, slip away all too quickly. For this reason I am determined to etch every moment in my mind. My to do list will get longer as my days will fly by way too fast. What can I do? Breathe. Just breathe.  That always makes me feel better.
